Gaming is supposed to be fun, right? I sure haven’t felt that way lately though. That’s nobody’s fault but mine to be honest. In the pursuit of keeping up with gaming since starting Falcon Game Reviews, I’ve kinda lost sight of why I fell in love with videogames.
Playing them for fun.
It’s easy to get caught up in that, which is why I’ve decided to take a bit of a break from the usual grind of checking out new games as soon as possible. This isn’t my retirement from writing game reviews, just a chance for me to try something different for a change.
That’s where The Witcher III Wild Hunt comes in.
I Love The Witcher III
I’m no Witcher hipster; I started the series with the third installment, after it was already cool. It hit the games market during a time when there was a dearth of good RPGs on the current generation hardware. It has fantastic writing, a compelling plot, and some of the best post-launch support I’ve ever seen from a developer that wasn’t multiplayer content.
I decided to make The Witcher III my first game to visit in my quest to just have some fun.
I don’t have any updates as of yet, but just you wait. I need to actually play the damn game after all. Maybe I’ll finally sink my teeth into the expansions finally.
