I’ve been thinking about this for a while, so I figured I’d make use of the fancy comment section here. Y’all have been great about having conversations with me, even when I’ve been super-detached.
So would you be okay with me bombarding you with a few questions? It’s too late; I’m already asking them!
Why did you click to read this? Why do you choose to come here, to Falcon Game Reviews? Why read the reviews written here? Why the impressions? The opinion pieces? The random stuff I come up with, the lore examinations, or the character alignment profiles?
What brings you here, or to any place on the internet for that matter?
Obviously, some of you might have stumbled across Falcon Game Reviews as part of a random visit, but what made you come back? Or did you decide not to come back?
I’m calling in my favors. I’m looking for feedback, to help improve what I do. So…

I came here because you asked questions and I wanted to know what all the questions were and why you were asking. I read your posts because of your writing. I think your posts are interesting and informative. I like seeing what your opinions are.

Why do I come here?
Well, early on in my return to Worpress you were one that WordPress recommended to me as having similar tastes (they were mostly right) and while I don’t always agree with your takes on things they offer me a different viewpoint that can help better inform my opinions or understandings.

I know it helps me sometimes to see conflicting or diverging opinions. Echo chambers can be really boring. I’m glad that my stances aren’t so incredibly grating that you stop coming back!

I stop by because I like your take on games and the industry, but I also tend to look at blogs more often of people that I’m friendly with, so it’s also a kind of “Hey, what is Shelby up to?” sort of thing.
…that’s probably not helpful at all, is it?

Once upon a time…
But seriously, I think I started reading your stuff because you were honestly interactive on mine? Back when I was actually updating my gaming stuff and was able to keep up. XD You were supportive and I decided to check your stuff to see what kind of writer you are.
And then I kept coming back because I like not just your content, but I liked hearing your thoughts and the randomness. I also kept coming because if I comment, you talk about my opinion, or thank me – because I usually agree with a lot of what you say.
The conversations and such have great value. You are very nice about what you write and talking about your experiences. Even if we differ – rarely do we do – it is nice to see your take. It is never offensive and well thought out.
You also talk about games I haven’t heard about sometimes/haven’t thought about. I reconsider giving something a shot sometimes and keep them in mind.
And it doesn’t matter the content, it is all pretty fun and a good read overall.
I think that essentially touches a lot of the questions… right? ;P
