Looking at video game characters in a new light.

Anyone who has played Dungeons & Dragons would likely be aware of the concept of character alignment. You’ve undoubtedly seen hundreds of character alignment charts around the internet. Some are very thought out, while others seem to be slapped together by a 12 year old with unlimited free time and unfettered access to his mom’s computer in the basement.

Well, I’m not a 12 year old and I have my own computer, but I have unfettered access to it and it’s in my basement. So over the next few [insert arbitrary time frame that I will inevitably not adhere to here], I will be putting together profiles on some big name video game characters. Perhaps with the help of my wonderful wife, Jennifer?

  1. This is a fun idea! I was actually thinking of doing something about diagnosing characters using the DSM5, but this seems fascinating. I can’t wait to see what characters you “align”!
