In the effort to further legitimize this operation, I have set up a Patreon page for Falcon Game Reviews!
For those that are unfamiliar with Patreon, it’s a service that allows people to donate directly to creators. Frankly, I don’t want to sound as if I’m asking for money from any of you as a condition of me continuing to write. No, it’s more just a way for me to expand this site without having to delve into funding practices that I find unsavory (affiliate marketing, sponsorship, black market sales, etc).
Instead, all I am asking of you at this point is to take a look at my mission statement for Falcon Game Reviews, and continue visiting this site to your heart’s content. Whether this site receives a $15 a month, or $0 a month, I will continue writing; because it’s damn fun and I enjoy having conversations with you all.

Would you believe I was actually thinking of doing this myself once I made the switch to a “custom” domain name? Fantastic idea! I’m a little strapped for cash myself at the moment, being mostly unemployed (sigh), but your writing is certainly worth a few dollars (at least!) a month 🙂 Glad to see you expanding your corner of the web!

I can’t tell you how good it makes me feel to just hear that Falcon Game Reviews is good enough to even be considered for support like that. I certainly think that you should go ahead and set up a page. I know that there are quite a few people on Patreon that I’d like to donate to, and I would be happy to do the same for you when you put your page together.

Of course! We all need to support each other 🙂 And thank you for the words of encouragement; I’ve been debating whether I should wait to see if I can sustain until my one-year anniversary and then reassess, or if I should just jump in and go for it right now, so you’ve given me more to think about!

I’m sadly like Athena above my comment. Right now, I’m strapped, the only thing that I can pick up is either groceries and videogames, I’ve been taking a small break from College to focus on work and other things that need my attention but I would say, that your writing is great. I’m glad that you’re expanding!
