I seriously have been meaning to finish writing several posts. I’ve been meaning to write for Creators more too.
I just haven’t.
I’ve been in a funk lately. College has been taking its toll, but my spurt with unemployment has done far more damage to my desire to write. A couple months ago, I was let go from my work and found myself without a job.
Just as an aside, collecting unemployment benefits is a ton of work. The good news is that I managed to find work at a clothing store, which is so ridiculously outside my comfort zone, but it’s work. It may be part time, and we may still be broke, but it’s work.
Things had been piling up for a while, taking a head when I received a letter from the Unemployment Office saying that my previous employer has disputed my claim and that I’d be required to attend a tribunal to make my case.
I just wanted to say that I seriously want to write. I want to participate here on WordPress with you readers. I just haven’t been able to convince myself to sit down and write.
But the fact of the matter is that I miss it. I plan to rectify that soon.

It’s so tough when your world gets flipped upside down like that. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been having such a hard time, and to hell with your former employer and their claim against you! I hope so much that it all works out and that you can get some forward momentum again. On the brightside, you’re already halfway through this semester of school and you’ve got some income coming in now. This will all be a distant memory soon, and you’ll be onto bigger and better things! Hang in there *inserts cat poster*

Sorry with all the life complications. But you seem like you are someone who will bounce back though! I have full faith in you! We’ll all be waiting and enjoy when you are back; but understand that real life is… well, reality. ;P

I kind of know how you feel, mate – and I’ve been struggling with the whole writing thing of late. I seem to fluctuate between the “funk” and just being too damn busy, with not much in the way of a happy middle ground. It sucks, obviously, but I think we all understand that life can sometimes get in the way, so we’ll still be here when you get your groove back.
And I genuinely hope you get everything sorted, and it all works out well – sooner rather than later.
